Pay Anyone
Send and receive money to anyone by handle, email, full name, phone number, or connected X account. Counterparties see the user's handle and profile picture. Names, wallet addresses, and banking details stay private.
Find anyone
Search by:
- Encrypto handle (the user's chosen
@username). - Connected X account. Linking X imports the
@usernameand profile picture automatically. - Email.
- Phone number.
- Full name.
The handle and profile picture are editable at any time. Updating them updates how the user appears to counterparties.
Privacy
Compliant pseudonymity. KYC happens once at the regulated partner layer when the user signs up. After that, counterparties never see the user's legal name, wallet addresses, or banking details. A payer who only knows your handle (or X account) cannot trace back to your identity. If a user chooses to be known by their X handle, they stay known by their X handle. No leak to legal name, address, or wallet.
Identification by email, phone, or full name only works for counterparties who already know that information. Encrypto does not surface a user's real identity to anyone who does not already hold it.
Receiving
USDC lands on the card. Other tokens land in the wallet, or auto-convert to USDC on the card if the user opts in.
Recipients
The recipient does not need an Encrypto account. They receive the money in the form they expect:
- Another Encrypto user, by any identifier above.
- Any external wallet on any of the supported chains.
- Any bank account in a supported region, on that region's local rail.
